The following are not permitted:
Guests may bring their own tents. Camping is permitted only within the designated, authorised event camping area and during the published camping times.
Secure your tent properly for coastal wind conditions. Keep access lanes clear and leave sufficient space between tents. Do not camp outside the event boundaries or disturb surrounding vegetation and wildlife.
Follow the published ticket conditions regarding camping access and any separate booking requirements.
No ground fires, bonfires or fires in personal braais or improvised containers are permitted.
The only permitted fires are in fire drums supplied by the organisers, positioned in designated areas and expressly authorised by the event team, subject to park permit conditions.
If the event team has not authorised a fire, do not light it.
Campout takes place in a protected national park. Every guest must help keep the site and surrounding area clean.
Use the provided bins and waste collection points. Bring refuse bags for your campsite and remove all camping equipment and belongings when leaving. Do not leave cigarette butts, bottle caps, cable ties or other small waste in the sand.
No confetti or loose glitter is permitted. Do not disturb wildlife, damage vegetation or remove natural materials. Use the provided toilets; do not dispose of wastewater or toilet waste in the dunes.
Treat fellow guests, staff and the environment with respect. Violence, harassment, threatening behaviour and unsafe conduct will not be tolerated.
Follow instructions from security, marshals, medical personnel and park officials. Security checks may take place at entry. Guests who breach event rules may be refused entry or removed, and unlawful conduct may be referred to the relevant authorities.
Prepare for sun, sand, wind and cooler nighttime temperatures. Bring suitable footwear, sunscreen and warm clothing, stay hydrated and seek assistance promptly if you or someone nearby needs help.
